If it was impossible to pass gas, would the build up cause Spontaneous Human Combustion?

Lots of people have written about SPONTANEOUS HUMAN COMBUSTION  aka- SHC - but it’s never been proven as an actual fatal condition. Could SHC just be a fart joke?

Charles Dickens and Mark Twain both wrote fictional novels about SHC.  More recent story examples include the  - X-Files and one of the Fantastic Four.

How come we never hear stories about SCC Spontaneous Cow Combustion or Spontaneous Hippo Combustion? Both are known to pass some amazing gas!
