SJ88 Five-Part Shoulder Joint with Rotator Cuff
Encompassing the bony framework of the shoulder joint — clavicle, scapula, and proximal humerus, on which origin and insertion sites of the shoulder muscles have been highlighted in color (origins red, insertions blue), the model has been further enhanced with the addition of synthetic, yet anatomically accurate muscles of the rotator cuff. Each of the four rotator cuff muscles — subscapularis, supraspinatus, infraspinatus, and teres minor — can be detached, and once this has been accomplished, all of the motions of the shoulder joint can be performed including: abduction, adduction, inward and outward rotation, anteversion, retroversion, elevation and circumduction. The model is supported on a rectangular base.
